Job Summary: As Solution Manager (SAFe) you will be leading the execution of solution development, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives for the NXP CoreRide platform. This position involves defining the solution vision, coordinating development progress across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and suppliers, and supporting the solution throughout its lifecycle. As the organization is transforming into SAFe, change management is a key role. The role resides in the Automotive System Engineering & Marketing (ASEM) group, who is a core part of NXP's automotive business. The ASEM team is known for its collaborative approach and commitment to innovation, driving the development of the NXP CoreRide platform to address the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) challenges in the coming years.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Define the solution vision and align the Solution Train and its stakeholders to this vision.
  • Coordinate development progress across multiple ARTs and suppliers.
  • Determine customer needs, ensuring the solution meets these needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and partners to define and elaborate solution capabilities and features.
  • Lead interactions with Solution Architects and Solution Train Engineers to steer the Solution Train.
  • Ensure the solution achieves the business objectives and performs its intended function for the customer.
  • Execute the NXP CoreRide platform in close alignment with all our Automotive Product Lines, the Business Line Automotive SW R& organization and the ASEM engineering team.
  • Track and ensure execution of your plans, and clearly communicate any changes to the internal teams, the ecosystem partners and the customers, driving corrective action where needed.
  • Develop knowledge on NXP Automotive System Solutions, understanding customer expectations to minimize issues during the release of the platform.
Key Challenges:
  • Effective problem resolution among cross-geographical and cross-functional teams.
  • Communicating clearly across the scale of customer interactions, from technical software and hardware engineers to executive VPs.
  • Motivating and influencing cross-functional teams, sustaining high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Managing risk and issue resolution proficiently.
  • Collaborating with partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Establishing strong relationships with the various automotive product lines and the automotive SW R&D organization.
  • Contributing to shaping an efficient and lean Agile organization across the Auto division.
Job Qualifications:
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in leading successful software integration at OEM.
  • Experience of the Automotive eco-system, including OEMs, Tier1 & partners.
  • Knowledge of embedded processors and software.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior technical and business leaders.
  • Excellent customer-facing, presentation, and communication skills with a strong technical acumen.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with semiconductors in a position such as product applications or systems engineer, technical marketing or program management.
  • Experience in leading a Solution Train, developing a complex product in a transforming organization.
