The OpportunityExciting opportunity to join an industry leading and rapidly expanding global healthcare group. A specialist and clear innovator within their area of expertise they operate across multiple jurisdictions and offer a range of advanced and cutting edge medical services.
The ChallengeWorking closely with the Managing Director and Group CFO, the Head of Finance will oversee the end to end divisional finance function and be a key contributor to strategic planning and overseeing commercial projects and strategic initiatives. A broad Head of Finance position, your key responsibilities will include:
- The production of timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flows and profitability projections whilst ensuring effective planning cycles are aligned with the corporate strategy
- Provide strategic financial leadership by developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
- Deliver superior financial analysis, including variance analysis, cost control, and profitability assessments. Provide actionable insights to support operational improvements and growth strategies.
- Provide ongoing business partnership with operations to support key activities
- Maintain appropriate internal financial controls and risk management safeguards
- Business case preparation and deliver strategic advice on investment and growth projects
- Supporting the executive team to improve the ongoing performance of the business and deliver various strategic projects and initiatives
- Managing a small team of qualified accountants
The ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- CA / CPA qualified with relevant financial leadership experience
- Ideally Big4 or second tier-chartered accounting experience prior to your successful transition into industry
- A hands on leader with proven experience driving financial performance across a team-oriented environment
- Superior financial leadership experience across financial reporting, commercial and FP&A
- Proven experience in a dynamic, high growth transformational environment
- Strong commercial nous, exceptional business partnering pedigree
- Advanced financial modelling skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate with high achievement drive
- Proven healthcare industry experience will be looked upon favourably
- Previous experience in a portfolio company of private equity firm will be advantageous
