The Opportunity
Due to sustained growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Commercial Lawyer with experience in APRA regulations to step into a Senior Legal Counsel role. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you’ll play a key role in a collaborative and respected legal team. This high-visibility position will see you:

• Advise on a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and strategic matters
• Draft, review, and advise on commercial arrangements
• Assist in special projects such as M&A and transformation
• Assist in company secretarial and oversight of ESG
• Manage privacy, IP, litigation, training, and external legal service providers
• Work closely with senior executives, including exposure to the ELT and Board
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the development of legal best practices across the business

About You
You bring 8+ years PQE, ideally gained in a top-tier firm or in-house legal team within a regulated sector. You thrive in complex environments, communicate with impact, and have a genuine interest in mentoring and collaboration. Key experience includes:

• Commercial contracts and corporate advisory work
• APRA regulations and regulatory compliance
• Project leadership and stakeholder engagement
• A proactive, business-focused mindset with strong ethical grounding
