Medical Science Liaison

Recruitment Team Manager - EMEA at Planet Pharma

Planet Pharma are partnered with a leading Medical Device client, they are seeking to hire a Medical Science Liaison for a field‑based role responsible for building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and providing scientific and medical information on their products.

Key Responsibilities

• Increase therapy awareness among prescribers and non‑prescribers.
• Manage all field activities across the Austrian territory.
• Deliver medical and scientific training on clients products and relevant disease areas.
• Support investigator‑sponsored trials (ISTs) and other external research projects.
• Provide clinical and market insights to internal teams.
• Participate in European medical congresses and coordinate advisory boards.
• Support Phase 3 clinical studies in collaboration with researchers and clinical teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with national KOLs and medical experts.
• Conduct internal medical training and contribute to scientific and strategic materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date medical knowledge through literature review and professional events.

Key Requirements

• University degree in natural sciences, medicine, or engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a medical‑scientific role, ideally within oncology.
• High willingness to travel (70–80%) and enjoy working independently in the field.
• Strong ability to present scientific information clearly and effectively.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work within small teams and across locations.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
