Job Duties:

• Develop, manage and teach modules in the areas of Marketing and Retail Management in English and German (C1)
• Supervise bachelor and master theses
• Achieve excellence in teaching quality and student experience
• Conduct independent research in the areas of Marketing and Retail Management
• Develop, manage and execute independent and collaborative research projects, generate research income, demonstrate impact through resarch
• Publish research of internationally excellent quality
• Assume academic leadership responsibilities e.g., in research, programme development, internationalisation, accreditation, or in other areas of importance to the Institute
• Maintain relations with key stakeholder groups relevant to the institute, business school and university, e.g. business / industry leaders, public and non-governmental organisations, etc.

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a Doctoral degree (PHD, DBA) in Social and Economic Sciences
• Excellent command of the German (C1) and Englisch (C1) language
• Teaching experience in the Higher Education sector with a focus on Marketing and Retail Management
• Experience in academic as well as applied retail and Conumer research
• Significant experience in developing, managing and executing research projects as well as in the area of science communication and creation of impact
• Track record of publications in the core research areas of the Institute of Retail, Sales and Marketing (in internationally renowned academic journals)

• On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 4,932.90 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
