This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape the digital future of the largest regional aged care provider in Australia-and growing! The CIO will oversee all aspects of our information and communication technology (ICT), ensuring it aligns with our strategic goals and supports our frontline care services.

You will bring strategic oversight and technical excellence to the table, leading major projects, uplifting system capabilities, and ensuring a secure, scalable, and cost-effective ICT environment across a multi-site national organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ICT strategy and innovation to enable our mission and support future growth.
  • Manage organisation-wide ICT infrastructure, architecture, operations, and support.
  • Oversee the successful planning and delivery of critical technology projects.
  • Build robust systems for security, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Oversee organisational growth and ensure the successful integration of new sites and services.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders and influence organisational decision-making.
  • Maintain strong governance, risk management, and supplier relationships.
  • Champion continuous improvement, digital enablement, and staff capability uplift.

What is Required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a CIO or comparable role in a large, complex organisation
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on operational levels.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-wide ICT transformation and support.
