The Senior Product Manager will drive progress and scale the business, partnering with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Design to deliver scalable solutions for clients and workers worldwide. Responsibilities
- Own and lead all aspects of an established agile team, including backlog grooming, triage, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
- Define the scope of new product features and ongoing improvements across web and desktop applications.
- Write and prioritize user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Establish and maintain credibility with internal and external partners (Finance, Legal, Support, Sales).
- Break down complex problems using data and analytics, combined with user research, to inform product direction.
- Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and communicate contingency and mitigation plans.
- Conduct ad-hoc research and business analyses to assess opportunities and risks.
- Identify and solve complex product challenges aligned with short-term goals and long-term strategy.
- Apply system-analysis techniques and consult with users to determine functional specifications.
First weeks/months expectations
- In the first week: onboard, study the Toptal product suite, and align with product goals and stakeholders.
- In the first month: collaborate with Designers, Engineers, and senior stakeholders to organize and prioritize the roadmap; begin working with the development team; take over in-flight and planned initiatives.
- In the first three months: fully support HireGlobal’s product, complete quarterly planning, launch features with high business impact, and own a development team.
- In the first six months: drive end-to-end delivery, discover new opportunities, develop a repeatable roadmap delivery model, and ensure alignment with business strategy.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical discipline.
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in fintech, payments, or billing systems.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling payment-related products (billing, payroll, invoicing, FX, reconciliation).
- Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with HR tech, payments, or compliance-heavy products.
- End-to-end product leadership from discovery to launch and iteration.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable using SQL or spreadsheets for data-driven decisions.
- Experience with third-party system integrations.
- Ability to use data to make decisions with various tools and methodologies.
- Ability to craft solutions through data and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to create wireframes and mockups with Design, keeping things simple and clear.
- Meticulous with a high standard for quality in writing user stories, reviewing designs, and testing features.
- Humility, willingness to learn, and willingness to do what’s needed to achieve goals.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing company and handle diverse challenges and deadlines.
