Description
The AU Learning team seeks an exceptional Learning Program Manager who will set the standard for learning excellence across our operations. This role demands a strategic leader who can transform learning from a compliance function into a competitive advantage that directly drives operational performance, safety outcomes, and employee development at scale.
As a Learning Program Manager, you will drive the end-to-end learning program strategy for Operations, establishing best-in-class training standards that enable our teams to deliver world‑class customer experiences. You will lead cross‑functional learning initiatives across the region, driving innovation in program delivery while maintaining relentless focus on measurable business impact. This role requires someone who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels—designing regional learning frameworks while being willing to \"roll up your sleeves\" and deliver training on the floor when needed.
This is a field‑based, leadership position requiring at least 20% quarterly travel between operations sites. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic, high‑volume environment where priorities shift rapidly and ambiguity is the norm.
A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing learning metrics and site performance data, identifying trends that require intervention. You'll conduct check‑ins with your peers and ensure they are supported. Mid‑morning, you might facilitate a working session with leaders to design the strategy for a new process/program roll out, then spend the afternoon partnering with cross‑functional teams on program development. You'll analyse completion rates and performance data to assess program effectiveness, then end your day planning next week's site visits and preparing a business review on learning impact for senior leadership.
The AU Learning team is the engine that powers operational excellence across our operations network. We're a team of passionate learning professionals who believe that investing in people is the highest‑leverage activity we can do. We move fast, experiment boldly, and measure everything. We support each other, challenge each other, and celebrate the impact we have on thousands of employees who deliver for our customers every day.
