Your Job

As a Frontend architect, you will be “riding the architectural elevator” between the engine room and high-level management roles.

Your Job’s Key Responsibilities Are

  • Conceptualizing frontend applications within their surrounding system landscape
  • Guiding the implementation process of large-scale touchpoints
  • Mentoring cross-functional scrum teams during technical development
  • Prototyping, designing, documenting, and managing key components of frontend related systems
  • Setting standards, quality metrics, and best practices to meet the customer needs in a satisfying way
  • Keeping an eye on the big picture and contributing to a company-wide vision
  • Bringing a fresh perspective and a creative approach to the development of our products

Your Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale web applications, with a proven track record of leading complex projects
  • Extensive expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/Sass
  • Robust understanding of module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, RsPack), package managers (e.g., NPM, Yarn), and build automation tools
  • Solid knowledge in topics such as SSR, Caching, State Management, and Service Workers
  • Experience in the conception and the development of platforms in Cloud Environments such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
  • Comfortable working with large codebases, using Typescript, Sass, and React, to create user touchpoints for web and native applications
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills to guide developers and align with stakeholders
  • System design proficiency, with the ability to create diagrams and models that clarify complex systems

The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. What is also important to us is to pay our employees an internally comparable salary. For legal reasons, we need to disclose the minimum annual salary for full time employment as stated in the current collective IT agreement, which is € 53,802 gross/year for this position.
