Are you a motivated student studying Electronics Engineering and looking for a practical internship?

About the Internship

We are looking for a student to join our AMS verification lab team at Infineon. The team works with analog and digital measurements across a broad range of devices.

Devices Verified

  • Analog blocks in Infineon microcontrollers
  • Analog to Digital (ADC) and Digital to Analog (DAC) converters
  • High speed interfaces
  • High Precision Oscillators and PLLs
  • Power Management Systems (PMS)
  • Battery Management Systems (BMS)
  • DCDC Converter for low voltage applications and Linear Voltage Regulators (LDOs)
  • RF blocks for radar systems
  • Bias & Control circuits for 5G antennas

Technical Experience to Gain

  • Semiconductor integrated circuits
  • Usage of the latest measurement equipment in the AMS area
  • Board assembly, rework and soldering
  • Debugging and root cause analysis of unexpected behavior
  • Understanding of parasitic influence on circuit performance
  • AMS measurement techniques
  • Big data handling and post‑processing
  • Automation of lab test setups
  • Preparation and presentation of measurement results
  • High‑quality documentation according to IATF16949 and ISO26262

Team & Experience

You will work with a youthful and active international team; more than 100 students have interned there, many becoming engineers worldwide.

Employment Details

Type of employment: Temporary / Part‑time (flexible working hours from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday)

Duration: Minimum 6 months (preferably 1 year or more)

Eligibility

You are a motivated student in Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field and you meet the following criteria:

  • Knowledge in using laboratory equipment
  • Understanding of programming languages such as C, C#, C++ (or similar)
  • Good English skills
  • Willingness to commit to a minimum 6‑month internship (preferably longer)

Collective Agreement

This position follows the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full‑time). Employment group B applies for bachelor students, while group D applies for master students. Salaries and conditions are available on the FEEI website.
