Overview

Master Thesis: Application Engineering 3D Imaging (f/m/div) at Infineon Technologies. You are a Master student in Informatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and are looking for an exciting master thesis opportunity. Our Power & Sensor Systems (PSS) team in Graz delivers future-oriented solutions for data transport and smarter, smaller, lighter, and more energy-efficient tools and systems.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Implement a ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor model into Nvidia Isaac Sim to enable simulated 3D TOF data generation for AI model training.

This thesis has to be written in cooperation with a university.

Details

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: minimum 6 months

Your Profile

You are a motivated and committed master student from the fields of Informatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you also offer:

• Knowledge and experience in software development with Python and C++
• Strong interest in 3D image data processing, simulation, and algorithms
• Knowledge of ROS is a plus
• Fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group D for master students. (See minimum salaries link in the original posting.)
