Quantity Surveyor – Technical Facilities

Location: Kronstorf, Austriap>

Salary: €40,000 – €80,000 + package

Employer: Leading General Contractor

The Role

An international general contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of technically complex facilities projects across Austria, based in Kronstorf.

You will work closely with the commercial and project delivery teams on data centre, pharmaceutical, and industrial projects, supporting cost control, procurement, and commercial reporting from early project stages through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost management and commercial control across live projects
  • Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
  • Procurement and commercial administration of subcontract packages
  • Valuations, variations, and change control management
  • Interim valuations and payment applications
  • Support with final accounts and commercial close-out
  • Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to maintain cost certainty

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a general contractor or main contractor
  • Exposure to technical facilities, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a structured, detail-focused environment
  • Fluent English required (German advantageous but not essential)
