Job Responsibilities
Create HTML5 games in collaboration with the team.
Develop gameplay mechanics and game architectures, primarily using TypeScript in PlayCanvas.
Requirements
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with established game engines such as Unity, PlayCanvas, Phaser, Godot, or Unreal.
Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
Knowledge of gameplay programming and mathematics.
Experience with version control systems like GIT.
Strong communication skills; team-oriented mindset.
Solid German and English language skills.
Self-motivated with a professional attitude.
Nice to Have
Experience with npm and GitLab.
Knowledge of WebGL/WebGPU.
Experience with networking SDKs such as Nakama or Colyseus.
Familiarity with other web-based engines like Phaser, Construct, Three.js, or Babylon.js.
Interest in games and technology.
Interest in Tech-Art.
Understanding of computer graphics and shaders.
Terms
Onsite at Techno-Z Salzburg, with up to 3 days per week remote work after onboarding.
Work hours: 30 to 38.5 hours per week.
Full-time salary starting at €53,810 annually, according to the Austrian IT collective agreement, with potential additional compensation based on experience and qualifications.
