The Lead Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d) is responsible for high product quality, customer value beyond expectations, regulatory assurance, and optimized cost of quality. This role serves as the technical focal point for supplier activities aimed at increasing process control and quality assurance of purchased parts/components to strengthen cooperation between INNIO and its suppliers.

Your Responsibilities:
Act as the primary interface between suppliers and INNIO internal functions on technical issues, collaborating with Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Engineering
Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures, standards, and technical regulations
Lead qualification projects for new parts and suppliers, focusing on defect prevention. Participate in design & tollgate reviews
Lead efforts to reduce product defects and cost of quality, perform root cause analyses, and manage supplier deviation requests and non-conformities
Drive supplier development activities: promote continuous improvement initiatives and provide quality input for supplier scorecards
Your Profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills within cross-functional teams
Independent, proactive, with a flexible work style and quick response capability
Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time within Europe and globally
