Associate Director / Director (Relocate to Adelaide)

A prominent boutique corporate finance advisory business based in Adelaide is seeking to expand its team with an Associate Director or Director. This company has established itself as a trusted advisor in the Australian market, specialising in providing strategic and business planning advice, assisting companies with transactions such as acquisitions, divestments, or partnerships, and working with clients on funding strategies and capital raising. Committed to excellence and fostering a collaborative team environment, this company is well-positioned for continued growth. The role is based full-time in the Adelaide office and offers a fantastic opportunity to relocate and experience the lifestyle South Australia offers.

The Role:

Become a pivotal member of the team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading transaction teams to execute client engagements, ensuring projects meet milestones and deadlines.
  2. Assisting senior team members and guiding junior staff while advising clients on strategic objectives.
  3. Preparing transaction documentation.
  4. Conducting financial analysis and developing detailed financial models, taking ownership of outputs.
  5. Managing multiple engagements and identifying business development opportunities.
  6. Developing junior staff and fostering a culture of learning and growth.

About You:

As an experienced Corporate Finance professional, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Law, or a related field, with a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., CA, CFA, MBA).
  • A successful track record in a similar role within professional services, private equity, or investment banking.
  • Strong technical and project management skills.
  • The ability to deliver exceptional client service while managing competing demands and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of and networks within the Australian market.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for corporate finance, a strong work ethic, and an enquiring mind.
