Core Network Support Engineer (w/m/d) - Wien

Our client is the Austrian subsidiary of an Asian technology group. The company is involved in the expansion of fiber optics in Austria and collaborates with major mobile communications providers in the country.

Was werde ich hier machen?

1. Customer-facing support engineer in a vendor-network operator environment (on-site)
2. Maintenance and support activities of voice and/or messaging core network elements in a cloud environment (network change operations, upgrades, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, inspection tasks, etc.)
3. Act as interface between the network operator's technical team and vendor level 3 support
4. Provide technical support for mobile and fixed voice and messaging services
5. On-call duty (if required)

Was sollte ich mitbringen?

1. University degree in computer science, electrical engineering/telecommunication, software engineering, or equivalent
2. Solid IT background — computer and transmission hardware, IP networking, Linux knowledge, cloud technologies (OpenStack, containers) is a plus
3. Network support experience
4. Working knowledge of protocols such as ISUP, MAP, SIP, Diameter
5. Knowledge of mobile and fixed voice core and/or messaging services
6. IMS architecture knowledge is beneficial
7. Reliable team player in an international multicultural environment
8. Good communication and analytical skills

Gehaltsspanne und Benefits

Our client offers a monthly gross salary of €3,500 to €5,000 (paid 14 times per year), depending on qualifications and experience.
