We are searching for a personality to strengthen the group security team. The Information Security Officer (ISO) is responsible for safeguarding the organization's assets by ensuring that security governance and the information security management system (ISMS) achieve their objectives. The ISO will report directly to the CISO and will collaborate with various departments on an international basis, including IT, engineering, facility management, legal, and customer services, to ensure the effective implementation of security measures.

Key Tasks

• Maintain a group-wide network of stakeholders and support them in implementing security controls.
• Collaborate with various departments on an international basis, including IT, engineering, facility management, legal, security incident response team, and customer services, to ensure the effective implementation of security measures.
• Review the policy framework to verify its adequacy and completeness for the organization.
• Prescribe or implement policies into work processes, work instructions, or employee rule sets.
• Collect and report compliance status information.
• Plan and conduct audits within this international context.
• Align measures with stakeholders to resolve identified deviations, mitigate risks, and systematically track these measures until fully implemented.
• Escalate if commitments cannot be obtained, deviations cannot be resolved, or risks cannot be mitigated.
• Assist with customer inquiries regarding the information security management system.

Key Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in the field of information security
• University degree in science, technology, engineering or management.
• Enthusiasm for cyber security
• Good knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and ideally experience in implementing ISMS processes
• Relevant certifications are an advantage
• Accuracy and willingness to find efficient and effective solutions in the context of security requirements and business needs.
• Enjoy working in a highly international environment and excellent networking skills
• Very good knowledge of English and German

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 50,439 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
