Responsibilities

  • Polarion End-User Support: You provide first- and second-level support for Polarion ALM users, resolving issues related to system usage, workflows, LiveDocs, and document management efficiently and user-oriented.
  • Incident & Problem Management: You analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Polarion-related issues, escalating complex topics and proactively reducing recurring incidents through sustainable solutions.
  • User Training & Enablement: You conduct user trainings, onboarding sessions, and create clear documentation and knowledge base articles to enable efficient and compliant Polarion usage.
  • Velocity Render Macro Development: You design, develop, and maintain Velocity-based render macros for Polarion LiveDocs and Wiki pages, enabling automated reports, dynamic tables, and traceability matrices.
  • Custom Reporting & Automation: You collaborate with stakeholders to implement customized Polarion reports and document automations using Velocity, HTML, and Polarion APIs.
  • Script Governance & Documentation: You ensure clean code, version control, and comprehensive documentation for all macros, scripts, and customizations.
  • Test Management & Execution: You create, manage, and execute test cases and test runs in Polarion and Proton, ensuring full traceability to requirements, risks, and releases.
  • Regulated Testing Lifecycle: You manage the complete test lifecycle including review, approval with e-signatures, execution, deviation handling, and reporting in regulated environments.
  • Release & Regression Testing: You coordinate and support regression, user acceptance, and release-specific testing activities for operational releases.
  • Operational Release Support: You plan and coordinate Polarion configurations, workflows, and templates to support operational and compliant releases.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness: You ensure all test evidence, release documentation, and compliance artifacts are complete, traceable, and audit-ready.
  • CI/CD & Tool Integration: You collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and integrations between Polarion and enterprise tools.

Qualifications

  • Polarion ALM Expertise: You have strong hands-on experience with Polarion ALM modules, workflows, LiveDocs, and lifecycle management.
  • Velocity & Scripting Skills: You are proficient in Velocity scripting, HTML, and working with Polarion SDKs and APIs.
  • Test Management Experience: You bring solid experience in test design, execution, reporting, and traceability within regulated environments.
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: You understand quality and compliance standards such as FDA CFR 21 Part 11, ISO 13485, and audit requirements.
  • Analytical & Reporting Skills: You analyze data quality, test metrics, and KPIs to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work effectively with global, cross-functional teams including QA, IT, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • Communication & Documentation: You communicate clearly and create precise technical documentation in fluent English.
  • Technical Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Regulated Industry Experience: You have experience working in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Agile & DevOps Mindset: You are familiar with Agile methodologies, CI/CD concepts, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Tool Integration Experience: You have experience integrating Polarion with enterprise tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

The gross annual salary is at least EUR 68,900 but of course we offer overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
