CIO/CTO (Interim)

A high-impact interim leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Chief Information/Technology Officer (CIO/CTO) to join a purpose-driven national organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the Executive team, the CIO will lead the strategic and operational direction of the organisation's technology environment—driving digital excellence, innovation, and security.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for shaping and executing the organisation's technology strategy, aligning it with broader business objectives. This role oversees the ICT, Software Development, and Information Security teams and provides strategic leadership across major platforms, systems, and service delivery channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and implement a cohesive technology vision, strategy, and roadmap
2. Foster collaboration across technology, development, and security functions
3. Oversee infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity frameworks
4. Ensure technology resilience through business continuity and disaster recovery planning
5. Partner with internal executives and external stakeholders to communicate and align technology priorities
6. Mentor and empower high-performing teams, building a culture of innovation and excellence
7. Manage compliance and risk aligned with national frameworks and governance standards
