Immunological and Molecular Cancer Researcher

Open Position for Research at the Salzburg Cancer Research Institute-Laboratory for Immunological and Molecular Cancer Research (SCRI-LIMCR).

The SCRI-LIMCR is looking for a scientist with a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and research experience in the following fields:

• Deep understanding of tumor immunology
• Experience and expertise in image analysis of solid tissues and blood cells
• Experience in methods of automated image analysis, if possible
• Familiarity with biostatistics or mathematical modelling

The SCRI-LIMCR is a non‑profit research organization focused on tumor immunology, examining the interaction between tumor cells and their microenvironment. The laboratory utilizes techniques such as NGS, single‑cell and RNA sequencing, flow cytometry, and single‑cell mass spectrometry of solid and fluid tissues.

There are tight cooperations with a number of clinical and translational research organizations.

The salary is at least that of a Postdoc (€87,220) according to the FWF (Austrian Research Fund) and can be adjusted according to the qualification profile.
