For our CEU Sales Force based in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria), we are currently looking for a Application Engineer – Focus CEU Region, 80-100% (f/m/x). The role can be based in one of the following locations: Austria (Klaus, Graz) or Germany (Berlin, Erlangen).

What's it all about?

1. Provide expert consultation, measurements, workshops, and training - both online and onsite.
2. Support customers, the sales team and our technical support with technical application based inquiries.
3. Act as a trusted technical advisor, share knowledge and feedback within the organization.
4. Contribute to product and service development through insights and innovation.
5. Conduct product presentations and technical trainings for customers and colleagues.
6. Represent OMICRON at committees, conferences, and user meetings.
7. Publish and support technical papers, application notes, and marketing materials.

What are we looking for?

1. Degree in electrical engineering (HTL, FH, TU, etc.).
2. Experience in protection & control (IEC61850) or primary high voltage applications is a plus.
3. Fluency in German and good English skills.
4. Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
5. Analytical thinking and ability to work across processes and structures.
6. Willingness to travel (up to 30%) within Central Europe.
7. Passion for new technologies, innovation, and continuous improvement.
