For our CEU Sales Force based in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria), we are currently looking for a Application Engineer – Focus CEU Region, 80-100% (f/m/x). The role can be based in one of the following locations: Austria (Klaus, Graz) or Germany (Berlin, Erlangen).
What's it all about?
- Provide expert consultation, measurements, workshops, and training - both online and onsite.
- Support customers, the sales team and our technical support with technical application based inquiries.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, share knowledge and feedback within the organization.
- Contribute to product and service development through insights and innovation.
- Conduct product presentations and technical trainings for customers and colleagues.
- Represent OMICRON at committees, conferences, and user meetings.
- Publish and support technical papers, application notes, and marketing materials.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in electrical engineering (HTL, FH, TU, etc.).
- Experience in protection & control (IEC61850) or primary high voltage applications is a plus.
- Fluency in German and good English skills.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Analytical thinking and ability to work across processes and structures.
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%) within Central Europe.
- Passion for new technologies, innovation, and continuous improvement.
