Facilities Engineer/Planner

Real Estate & Facility Management

We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Engineer/Planner to serve as the central point of contact for all facility management operations at our Gratkorn site. This role combines technical planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the efficient operation and continuous development of our facilities.

Your Responsibilities

Site Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison for all facility-related matters, coordinating with landlords, property managers, service providers, and internal teams.
• Serve as the central stakeholder manager within the framework of facility operations.

Contractor & Service Provider Management

• Direct and oversee a wide range of external contractors involved in facility services.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings with partners and document proceedings.

Project Planning & Execution

• Independently manage the planning and execution of office, laboratory, and cleanroom renovation or conversion projects.
• Collaborate with external planners and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and compliant project delivery.
• Supervise construction activities alongside external planning firms.

Technical Oversight

• Maintain a broad technical understanding of relevant trades (electrical, IT infrastructure, HVAC, etc.).
• Act as the technical expert for modernization, expansion, and renovation initiatives.
• Ensure seamless coordination between internal users and external specialists.

Operations & Maintenance

• Regularly inspect building infrastructure to guarantee optimal functionality, including:
• Building systems
• Security systems
• Cleaning and janitorial services
• Catering services (e.g., coffee and water supply)
• Oversee all maintenance and repair activities to uphold operational readiness.
• Support and participate in internal and external audits.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Drive optimization and ongoing development of facility management processes and tools.
• Lead occupational safety efforts, including risk assessments, as an area manager.
• Act as the local interface to Corporate Real Estate.

Workplace Development

• Contribute to shaping the future working environment by aligning facility infrastructure with modern work concepts.
