A leading Melbourne not-for-profit healthcare organisation, dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible, and community-driven care. Its services include primary health, research, mental wellbeing, chronic disease management, and social support, playing a vital role in improving health outcomes across diverse populations.

Working closely with the CFO and COO, the Project Manager will be responsible for working with the organisation and vendors to ensure successful implementation, adopting a hands-on approach.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO/COO, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Leading the development of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) by engaging key stakeholders across finance, operations, and management teams.
  2. Translating business needs into clear, structured Solution Design Documents (SDDs) to guide system configuration and implementation.
  3. Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured and aligned with project objectives.
  4. Supporting process mapping and gap analysis to inform future workflows and ERP system design.
  5. Acting as a key liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Contributing to ERP project governance and documentation standards to ensure best practices.
  7. Assisting in identifying risks and dependencies early in planning and contributing to mitigation strategies.
  8. Participating in system selection activities, providing input on functional fit and usability.
  9. Leading ERP implementation, balancing scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements.
  10. Managing project execution, identifying risks, and presenting solutions to the Project Sponsor.
  11. Supporting finance systems integration and ongoing optimisation efforts.
  12. Facilitating clear communication among stakeholders to meet project milestones.
  13. Promoting project objectives and ensuring team alignment.
  14. Coordinating with vendors to align on strategic goals and organisational needs.
  15. Assisting with go-live and post-implementation support.
  16. Developing training materials and conducting end-user training sessions.

Your Profile

  • Experience with ERP Financials implementation.
  • Implementation of a comprehensive 'tech stack' of systems.
  • Background in finance transitioning into project management.
  • Excellent project and change management skills/experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, document, escalate, track, and resolve issues. Capable of developing strategies and implementing solutions.
  • Finance background is required.
  • Available to start within two weeks' notice.
