Senior Staff Engineer System Application Engineering (f/m/div)

We are looking for a Staff Engineer System Application Engineering to strengthen our team in the field of high voltage power distribution and system design. Your expertise will contribute to developing innovative semiconductor solutions that enable clean mobility, renewable energy sources, and smarter industrial solutions.

In your new role you will

• Evaluate system concepts and architectures within your application area
• Drive and support lead customer design-ins from concept to implementation
• Drive system board design and verification of high-power density, innovative power distribution solutions
• Develop and build evaluation kits, perform system function verification and testing
• Analyze and document test results, ensuring quality and robustness of system performance
• Prepare design documentation, application notes, and getting-started guides for solutions developed
• Acquire and apply deep knowledge in system design, troubleshooting, and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to development projects with customers and internal stakeholders

You are passionate about system innovation and eager to take ownership in bringing advanced power solutions to life. You combine technical expertise with analytical thinking and enjoy working in an international environment.

Your toolkit for success includes

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar
• Experience in power distribution schemes and products (ideally in OEM or related environments)
• Solid knowledge in high-voltage & power electronics design, mechanical, and PCB design
• Proficiency in circuit and system simulation tools, plus software development skills (C, C++, C#)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset
• Excellent English communication skills (mandatory), with German skills being a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
