Your role at Dynatrace

Our agents are a key component of our product; they have the crucial role of enabling monitoring of mission critical applications across millions of customer environments and a variety of programming languages, while maintaining minimal performance impact.

Over 1.8 million .NET Agents are already deployed today, monitoring critical customer applications and platforms. In this role you'll join our .NET Agent team, focusing on implementing new capabilities, features, and improvements for these agents.

• Work on .NET CLR profiler based on C++ and C# code and leverage your skills in both languages
• Play part in the investigation and resolution of customer issues, bugs and performance improvements
• Analysis of the inner workings of .NET frameworks through debugging and investigation with a deep understanding of IL code execution, and GC
• Acquire a deep understanding of .NETruntime, intermediary language execution, and application profiling
• Independent design and implementation of new features
• Close collaboration with local and international development teams
• Mentorship and guidance of other engineers

What will help you succeed

• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with both C++ and C#/.NET experience
• Sound knowledge of C# including core packages
• Understanding how the .NET runtime works
• Knowledge how to use CorProfiler interface, BenchmarkDotNet, and ILSpy
• Being curious about various programming languages & technologies
• Being a team player as well as a passionate learner
• Striving for reliable and highly optimized code

Compensation and Rewards

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options withnumerous benefits and advantages.
• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salaryin line with qualifications and experience.
