Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Design and develop Firmware Libraries that provide a standardized interface to hardware modules, simplifying user interaction
  • Possess in-depth system knowledge of various wireless communication technologies, including Ultra-Wideband (UWB), Near Field Communication (NFC), and other relevant protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Concept Engineers, Application Engineers, and others to gather requirements, and ensure that concepts are implemented effectively
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within the Connected Secure Systems domain
  • As a key aspect of this role, you will also be developed as a Product Owner (SCRUM), responsible for:
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to align on project timelines
    • Prioritizing backlog items to achieve project timelines
    • Communicating proactively with stakeholders to meet timelines
    • Defining and refining the scope of work for each Sprint

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of signal analysis including the ability to interpret and troubleshoot physical signals using logic analyzers or oscilloscopes, such as SPI signals.
  • Proven expertise in designing modular software architectures
  • Proficiency in a range of programming languages, including:
    • Embedded C, with experience in developing efficient and reliable code for resource-constrained systems
    • In-depth knowledge of ARM Cortex-M architecture, including toolchain, memory management etc.
    • Conan and CMake, with experience in managing complex build processes and dependencies.
    • Python and C++, with experience in testing, scripting, and data analysis
  • very good English skills; proficiency in German is a desirable asset

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
