Job Description:

Our client is an international automotive company with several international plants. This client is now building up a new division for green technologies and is also investing in a plant in Upper Austria. For this reason we are searching for an Embedded Software Development Engineer who wants to be part of this strong growth.

1. Development, integration and testing of embedded software for new product line components (sensors, actuators or electronic control units)
2. Collaborate with system engineers and software project team for software requirements definition
3. Development and integration of software components on standard or internal platforms.
4. Perform software unit testing, integration and qualification testing where required
5. Contribute to appropriate procedures and documentation and capitalize knowledge

1. University Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
2. At least 5 years of experience in development and integration of embedded software applications, preferably for automotive
3. Excellent programming skills in C and good scripting skills (e.g. Python, MATLAB, C# etc.)
4. Experience with different microcontroller architectures and communication buses
5. Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture, methodology and toolchain
6. Experience with MBD development for embedded targets (MATLAB/Simulink)
7. Familiar with agile as well as traditional development methodologies (SCRUM, V-Model)
8. Master automotive quality and safety standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262)
9. Knowledge of fuel cell and battery management systems will be a big plus
10. Good listening and communication skills
11. Team spirit and able to work autonomously
12. Fluent in English (German nice to have)

For this position, our client offers a minimum salary of EUR 50,000 gross per year. Of course, this company will offer more depending on your qualification and experience.
