Solicitor / Senior - Disputes / Litigation Associate

Overview

Spanning three Directors, you’ll across a diverse range of commercial litigation and disputes. You will support Directors across the superior Courts, as well as running your own matters across the District and Magistrates (when ready). Indicative matters include;

• Contractual & Shareholder disputes; E&R, agri-
• Estate litigation
• Negligence and liability defences; financial and construction
• Insolvency matters
• Land and property disputes

The no supervising partner model ensures variation, albeit natural affinities tend to occur down interest, approach and general ‘click’ lines. Exposure to their differing practices and methodologies though will allow for your continued development as you continue to carve out your own niche.

While a WA-centric firm, affiliate networks see matters referred in from East Coast and, at times, international firms seeking local representation. Having largely relied on word-of-mouth marketing for a long time, with good success, the development of strong IT and internal systems means they will imminently launch a targeted marketing campaign. This is turn will create internal development opportunities as growth accelerates.

About you

• You will ideally bring 4 – 6+ yrs’ PAE with a disputes focus, however I would be happy to discuss with those with 3+.
• Sound academics on the LLB expected.
