Position: Specialist IT Governance - Cost Management (f/m/d)

Based at our headquarters in Leoben, Austria, as the Specialist IT Governance - Cost Management, you will ensure operational efficiency in cost management by providing expert IT support, enhancing IT systems, resolving technical issues, and developing strategies to support IT operations.

Your Responsibilities

1. Engage with key users to understand business needs, challenges, and goals.
2. Establish and maintain a method to manage all IT-related costs, investments, and depreciation within enterprise financial systems.
3. Implement decision-making processes to prioritize resource allocation and set rules for discretionary investments by business units.
4. Prepare budgets reflecting investment priorities based on IT project portfolios and services.
5. Develop and utilize an IT costing model based on IT services.
6. Implement a cost management process comparing actual costs against budgets.

Your Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in controlling, computer science, software engineering, automation, industrial engineering, or equivalent; minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
2. Expertise in IT Governance and IT Cost Management/Controlling.
3. Knowledge of IT Security principles, data protection regulations, and compliance standards.
4. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques for monitoring IT costs.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in international environments.
6. Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
