People & Culture Specialist

(m / w / d) Part‑time 20‑25h / week

Fixed‑term 18‑month contract (parental leave replacement) with the option of transitioning into a permanent position.

Position : People & Culture Specialist (f / m / d)

That’s why we’re looking for a People & Culture Specialist (f / m / d) who wants to actively shape how people join, grow, thrive, and stay - and who sees People & Culture as a strategic enabler, not an administrative function.

What You Will Do : Key responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate the full employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to development, retention, and off‑boarding
  • Act as a trusted operational partner for employees and leadership
  • Manage hiring processes from end‑to‑end, i.e. including job ads, ATS pipeline management, interview coordination and contract preparation
  • Ensure smooth and structured onboarding experiences for new hires
  • Coordinate development, retention, and culture initiatives, including career frameworks, extended one‑to‑ones, benefits, and team events
  • Maintain people data, contracts, and documentation, and support people‑related governance topics such as compensation fairness
  • Prepare payroll‑relevant data (Lohnverrechnung) in coordination with our tax advisors
  • Providing information and advice on labour law and human resources topics for employees and managers

About you

Every Venturer brings in specific expertise and a hands‑on attitude. For this specific role, we are searching for an individual with the following profile :

  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in a similar role such as People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Generalist
  • Strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle and Austrian labour law
  • Experience working with ATS and HR systems, e.g. softgarden or similar
  • Excellent organisational skills and structured, reliable working style
  • High level of discretion and confidence in handling sensitive information
  • Strong communication skills in German, English is a plus
  • Hands‑on, proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership

We are required by law to disclose the minimum salary in line with the collective bargaining agreement, which is €34,637.40 gross per year (full‑time basis).

For this specific role, we offer a competitive salary of €45,000 gross per year (full‑time equivalent), paid over 14 salaries (all‑in), in line with our career scheme. The final salary for this part‑time role will be aliquoted accordingly and can be higher, depending on your experience and qualifications.
