The Opportunity

With ACCIONA experiencing robust growth, we're looking for a dynamic Senior Insurance Advisor to play a pivotal role in managing our insurance functions, reporting directly to the ANZ Insurance Manager. This role involves building partnerships across the business to help protect our risk position and support our risk maturity journey across a global company. Responsibilities include claims management, advising stakeholders on contracts and risk allocation, insurance coverage and placement, and leading risk-based commercial decisions. This role can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage insurance claims from the date of loss, developing strategies to ensure timely and maximized settlement, working with project teams, brokers, and external stakeholders.
2. Analyze, manage, and renew corporate insurance policies in Australia and New Zealand, assisting with renewal strategies alongside global colleagues and broking partners.
3. Ensure all insurance policies and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
4. Assist in preparing ELT board papers and other internal reports.

About You

• Proven experience in insurance and claims within a large corporate environment.
• Construction, professional indemnity, or claims management experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of insurance provisions in construction-related contracts and the ability to advise on related matters is advantageous but not essential.
