We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager for a rapidly growing, PE-backed global alternative property business to lead the HR function in a newly created role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a HR Leadership role within a successful scale-up business.

This role will serve as the Australian people lead with access to influence Global operations. This role will also be responsible for influencing the company foundations whilst the HR function is still maturing and the business continues to scale, while developing strategic processes and ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation.


The Role:
  • Serve as the primary People leader for Australia, our core and fastest-growing region
  • Function as the de facto global HR presence while helping build international capability
  • Leading strategic people initiatives
  • Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning and organisational development
  • Develop scalable HR systems, policies and processes for global application
  • Ensure full compliance with Australian employment law, modern awards, and Fair Work obligations
  • Lead our WHS strategy and execution
  • Create frameworks supporting a compliant, scalable, and values-aligned workforce
  • Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture across all teams and locations
  • Oversee performance management, engagement, and wellbeing programs
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution
  • Implement tools to improve talent acquisition efficiency
  • Partner with hiring managers on effective onboarding and training
  • Mentoring a talented HR Generalist
About You:

You will be able to work autonomously in a fast-moving business at a very exciting time of scale. This global business is dominating and reshaping their industry, attributing to their innovation, driven leadership team and people-first culture.

7-10 years of HR experience with 2-3 years in HR Management or Business Partner roles:

  • Deep understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards
  • Strong WHS knowledge and implementation experience
  • Experience in scale-up or high-growth environments with minimal structure
  • Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
