Related to our hybrid work concept, we offer the possibility to work in our offices in Innsbruck (AUT) or Schaanwald (FL), combined with remote work.

This role requires a mixture of team leadership, hands-on software engineering, and software architecture skills. You’ll lead a group of engineers developing full-stack solutions in multiple technologies, including backend, web, and mobile apps across multiple countries. You’ll work in an international, distributed setup spanning multiple time zones, coordinating work, ensuring the timely delivery of features, guiding the team technically to use best practices, and writing efficient, scalable software.

Your tasks

1. Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams to develop requirements and implement innovative solutions.
2. Governance function for the development team(s).
3. Ensure code quality through code reviews and test automation.
4. Optimize existing systems and applications for performance and scalability.
5. Support the technical development and maintenance of several products, including client and server applications using C# (WinForms, WCF), SpringBoot (J2EE), and ColdFusion with the ColdBox framework.
6. Design, implement, and manage relational (MySQL/Aurora RDS) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
7. Leverage AWS cloud services for application deployment and management (e.g., ECS, ECR, S3, CodePipeline & CodeBuild).

Your profile

1. Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
2. Several years of professional experience in software development, with in-depth knowledge of core backend stacks: C# or Java. Polyglot experience is preferred.
3. Experience leading developers and upscaling best practices.
4. Curious learner, capable of navigating and learning multiple stacks and technologies, and promoting quality and standard engineering practices.
5. Experience designing cloud-based software, including considerations for performance, security, and networking.
6. Project management / Scrum skills are a plus.
7. Knowledge of major cloud services (preferably AWS) for running containerized services.
8. Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
9. Reflective personality with team spirit and strong communication skills.
10. Proactive, structured, and results-oriented working style.
11. Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
