Senior JavaScript Developer for Feature Flagging (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using React to improve the developer experience. Collaborate with Dynatrace teams to integrate OpenFeature into their workflows, improving both backend and frontend development processes.
• Advocate for feature flagging best practices within Dynatrace and the broader developer community. Explore opportunities to integrate observability with feature flags, enhancing insights for developers, QA, and operations teams.
• Actively contribute to OpenFeature\'s open-source community by participating in discussions, reviews, and events.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript libraries, tools, and frontend components around OpenFeature for both internal and community use.
• Build intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using React to improve the developer experience. Collaborate with Dynatrace teams to integrate OpenFeature into their workflows, improving both backend and frontend development processes.
• Advocate for feature flagging best practices within Dynatrace and the broader developer community. Explore opportunities to integrate observability with feature flags, enhancing insights for developers, QA, and operations teams.
• Actively contribute to OpenFeature\'s open-source community by participating in discussions, reviews, and events.

What Will Help You Succeed

• Strong JavaScript expertise, with experience in building and maintaining libraries or frameworks.
• Solid experience with React and/or modern frontend development practices.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling.
• Basic understanding of feature flags and their role in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with distributed systems or cloud-native environments is a plus.
• Open-source contributions or community involvement is highly valued.
• Team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable working in a distributed team.

Compensation and Rewards

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is €60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
