Within Industrial Control and Drives Line of Business and reporting to the SVP, IC&D, you will be in charge of managing the Drives Systems Line of activity which has the following mission and Priorities.

  • Define the ambition and the strategy for the Line of activity.
  • Create the roadmap and prioritize its execution.
  • Manage the budget and the Projects Portfolio for R&D Development.
  • Define the future offers requirements.
  • Create value-based selling for segments and applications.
  • Ensure Quality and Customer Satisfaction

A part of your role would also be managing Drives application centres and prescription team to reach higher level of profitable growth of the Drives systems.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the End user’s presale and prescription team.
  • Manage the Drive application centres in charge of project quotations & Execution (America, Europe, Asia,).
  • Manage the central team of technical experts for field Services.
  • Manage our direct sales in Austria.
  • Grow the serviceable business (Drives Systems with attached services) in collaboration with the Services organization.
  • Achieve Drives Systems transformation to reach superior level of profitability for systems Drives combined with services.
  • Implement necessary adaptation of the business model in collaboration with our commercial organization, with countries and with the Service line of business.
  • Work closely with various Drives R&D centres for portfolio development.
  • Work Closely with Global Supply Chain for plant performance and footprint optimization.

  • Strategic vision orientation and tactic implementation
  • Front office and business acumens
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Experience: 15 years+experience in marketing, sales, R&D, project management on Drives in a complex and international environment
  • Education: Engineering school in power electronic completed by an MBA, or graduated from top league business School
  • Fluent in English, a second language is a plus
