Software Test Engineer (m,f,d)

What you can expect

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of websites for leading motorcycle brands. Our projects aim to deliver a seamless and engaging online experience for motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide.

• Ensuring and improving the quality of web applications in terms of usability, reliability, accessibility and performance

• Coordinating and collaborating with designers, developers and product owners to discover, understand and refine requirements

• Improve and automate test processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide feedback on potential improvements, issues and risks

• Creation, management and execution of manual and automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements

• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools

• Participating in all product lifecycle phases to help identify edge cases and define acceptance criteria

• Perform regression testing, exploratory testing, and cross-browser compatibility testing

• Assessing accessibility and performance according to current standards

Your profile

• Proven experience in manual testing of web applications

• Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

as a plus,

• Familiarity with Storyblok or other headless CMS platforms

• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• ISTQB certification or equivalent

• Familiarity with WCAG

We don’t expect you to be familiar with every part of our tech stack – but if you have experience in similar environments, that’s a big plus.

Collective agreement

We offer an attractive and performance-related salary based on qualifications and professional experience. This can be significantly higher than the collective agreement (according to IT-KV § 15/III(1)-ST1 Regelstufe 53.802,- gross per year based on full-time employment)
