We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of websites for leading motorcycle brands. Our projects aim to deliver a seamless and engaging online experience for motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide.
Ensuring and improving the quality of web applications in terms of usability, reliability, accessibility and performance
Coordinating and collaborating with designers, developers and product owners to discover, understand and refine requirements
Improve and automate test processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide feedback on potential improvements, issues and risks
Creation, management and execution of manual and automated test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools
Participating in all product lifecycle phases to help identify edge cases and define acceptance criteria
Perform regression testing, exploratory testing, and cross-browser compatibility testing
Assessing accessibility and performance according to current standards

Proven experience in manual testing of web applications
Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
as a plus,
Familiarity with Storyblok or other headless CMS platforms
Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
ISTQB certification or equivalent
Familiarity with WCAG

We offer an attractive and performance-related salary based on qualifications and professional experience. This can be significantly higher than the collective agreement (according to IT-KV § 15/III(1)-ST1 Regelstufe 53.802,- gross per year based on full-time employment)
