Responsibilities

• Lead process development projects for wet clean technologies used in semiconductor fabrication.
• Manage and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians.
• Design and execute experiments (DOE) to evaluate and optimize process parameters.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, product marketing, and customer support teams to define and deliver integrated solutions.
• Analyze test data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.
• Interface with customers to support demos, qualifications, and technology transfers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce cost, and improve reliability.
• Present technical findings and strategic plans to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
• Experience: 12+ years with a Master’s, 15+ years with a Bachelor’s, or 8+ years with a PhD in semiconductor process engineering or related roles.
• Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams.
• Strong background in wet cleans, surface preparation, or related semiconductor processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with advanced cleans chemistries and equipment.
• Familiarity with semiconductor fab operations and customer engagement.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and root cause analysis.

Compensation

This position is subject to the https://www.metalltechnischeindustrie.at/fileadmin/content/Dokumente/Kollektivvertrag/KV_2024/Abschluss/FMTI_Mindestgehaltstabelle_2024.pdf in the occupation group G or H depending on educational background and expertise. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year. Das Mindestentgelt für die Stelle als Process Manager – Cleans Division (all genders) beträgt 4.269,07 EUR brutto pro Monat auf Basis Vollzeitbeschäftigung. Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung.

Working Hours

Flexitime model 38.5 hours/week, Core hours (Mo-Th 9-15, Fr 9-11:30).
