CTO (Chief Technology Officer)

Job Summary

At Vabelmat, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong focus on back-end development. This role will be key in building and expanding our technology platform, leading the development strategy, architecture, and scalability of the systems. The CTO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the CPO to integrate software and hardware development and to ensure that technology is a fundamental driver for the company\'s growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Technology Leadership: Define and lead the technology strategy, ensuring alignment with Vabelmat\'s business objectives.
• Back-end Development: Manage the development of the software infrastructure, ensuring the system is scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Systems Architecture: Oversee the architecture of technology solutions in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), integrating IoT devices and satellite image processing.
• Team Management: Lead and expand the technology team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside the product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure the technology supports business needs and the customer experience.
• Continuous Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and promote the adoption of innovative tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology positions, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in back-end development using technologies such as Python, Node.js, Go, among others.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud systems architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Desirable experience developing SaaS platforms, with a focus on IoT integration and large-scale data processing.
• Proven ability to lead technology teams and collaborate effectively with different areas of the company.
• Strategic thinking, with skills to make key decisions regarding the company\'s technological direction.
• Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
