Title: Chiropractor

Job Type: Full-time

Job Overview: Healthcare Professionals are needed to provide medical services to supplement the medical staff in support of the Military Treatment Facilities and Health Clinics within the US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and for other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies including the US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.

Qualifications:

1. Degree: Doctor of Chiropractic.
2. Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education.
3. Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
4. Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a doctor of chiropractic.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Perform a full range of clinical diagnoses and chiropractic treatment for commonly occurring neuro-musculoskeletal conditions including subluxation complex.
2. Conduct a patient history and chiropractic physical examination as clinically indicated.
3. Use the modalities of heat, cold, light, electricity, sound, and exercises in the patient treatment area.
4. Provide patient instructions and recommendations in all matters pertaining to hygiene, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes, and ergonomic factors in the activities of daily living.
5. Plan and conduct lectures and training programs on chiropractic-related subjects for staff, students, and patients.
6. Order orthotics, lifts, collars, and lumbar-sacral supports.
7. Place active duty patients on limited duty status (profile) according to MTF policy.

DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status: This position is eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
