As a firmware lead, you will drive the development of new consumer products, collaborating with teams across Blink and Amazon to deliver high-quality solutions focused on customer satisfaction.

Basic qualifications

• Experience with C/C++ firmware development for resource-constrained devices (MIPS, RAM, FLASH, I/O)
• Knowledge of embedded CPU architectures
• Experience with security protocols and technologies
• Real-time, multi-threaded programming experience with Linux and/or RTOS
• Proficiency with external libraries in C
• Familiarity with Linux development environment, including make, source control, and editing tools
• Ability to read schematics and operate hardware lab equipment such as scopes and logic analyzers
• Experience bringing at least one product to market
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of audio/video codecs
• Experience with camera image processing
• Experience with Embedded Linux (uBoot, Kernel, Driver)
• Knowledge of Bare metal, assembly, BSP, POST, RTOS
• Experience with wireless stacks (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, sub-GHz)
