  2. Act as the primary contact for sustainability reporting within Motion towards ABB Group (e.g., Planning & Performance Management / Long-Term Performance Plan, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, etc.).
  3. Oversee data collection, validation, and reporting for Circularity, ensuring controls are in place and processes are aligned with requirements.
  4. Monitor and assess regulatory sustainability reporting requirements, support interpretation and understanding, and facilitate execution within Motion Divisions and Motion-led countries, collaborating with Government Relations, Public Affairs, and Standardization colleagues.
  5. Ensure collaboration between Finance and Sustainability functions to embed sustainability topics into broader reporting and performance management, challenging the status quo, and proposing new approaches.
  6. Design, standardize, and enhance documentation processes for sustainability reporting, ensuring they are effective, scalable, and aligned with policies.
  7. Improve data quality by coordinating with relevant functions, including Product Management and IS, to enhance data quality, automation, and digital tools supporting strategic insights and compliance.
  8. Prepare sustainability content for EC and Motion Business reviews, and develop dashboards to monitor sustainability performance against targets.

Qualifications

  1. Master's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field, preferably with a focus on Sustainability or ESG.
  2. Deep knowledge of sustainability reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, ESRS, GRI) and experience with audit and assurance processes.
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability and/or financial reporting, in complex, international environments.
  4. Strong interest and experience in setting up new processes, tools, and frameworks for sustainability reporting.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with familiarity with financial reporting tools and Power BI dashboards.
  6. Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach.
  7. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating across teams.
  8. Proven project and change management experience, capable of leading initiatives independently in large matrix organizations.
