The Position
Business Development Project Manager
Job Summary
Job Summary/Purpose: Lead projects involving internal resources and external stakeholders to develop new business avenues for PARP through innovation projects and new business models (including M&A) from start to finish. Ensure growth aligns with PARP's budget and strategic plans.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities within PARP subsegments (M&A, key partnerships, disruptive or complex innovation projects, new business models).
- Define suitable products, market approaches, operational setups, teams, and external partners for these opportunities.
- Translate these into tangible objectives and actions.
- Lead informal teams and facilitate execution of these actions to reach objectives.
- Manage project financials (revenue, margin, costs) and timelines.
- Serve as primary contact and manage relationships with external partners.
- Prepare and lead regular project reviews, including presentations.
- Collaborate with other Imerys functions and segments to leverage potential synergies.

Job Specifications
- Master’s degree in Science or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Extensive project management experience.
- 5+ years in marketing, sales, or business development with technical products.
- Knowledge of markets such as Plastics, Adhesives, Rubber, and Paints, including technologies and key players.
- Willingness to travel 30-40% on average.
- Business acumen and technical knowledge of the mineral industry.
- Professional level of English; additional languages like French are a plus.
