The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

Working in the Metrology and Defect Analysis team within the Clean Products' Lab Operations organization, you will be responsible for managing metrology equipment, developing metrology recipes and analytical techniques, and generating and analyzing data for customer demos and product development.

What You’ll Do

  1. Develop inspection techniques and metrology recipes supporting data generation and analysis for customer demo support.
  2. Design and conduct experiments independently, developing tailored analytical methodologies to support product development’s engineering testing.
  3. Plan, execute, and oversee complex metrology projects, documenting results and lessons learned in BKM.
  4. Analyze the performance of metrology equipment and collaborate with suppliers on troubleshooting and CIP.
  5. Schedule and organize preventive maintenance and calibrations.
  6. Support the development of the site’s metrology roadmap by identifying current gaps, collaborating with engineering teams, and planning implementation strategies.
  7. Engage with analytical laboratories and wafer suppliers to expand the available engineering testing options.

Who We’re Looking For

  1. Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
  2. Experience in optical measurements and/or chemical surface analysis.
  3. Knowledge of statistics, design of experiments, and problem-solving.
  4. Good English oral and written communication skills.
  5. Experience working in a laboratory and with semiconductor equipment, including surface preparation.
  6. Proficient in MATLAB, Python, or similar scientific computing languages.
  7. Familiarity with quality management and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001).
  8. Experience working in a collaborative, matrixed environment with diverse teams, customers, and partners.
