Head of Paraplanning

About the company:

Our client is a holistic financial planning firm with multiple office locations throughout Queensland. They are experiencing significant growth and are looking to expand their Brisbane team by hiring a Head of Paraplanning.

This role is ideal for a highly experienced paraplanner who has managed teams previously.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of paraplanners, both onshore and offshore
• Oversee workflow and daily operations of the paraplanning team
• Serve as an escalation point for complex cases
• Assist in writing financial plans when required
• Handle onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff
• Oversee paraplanning processes and templates, seeking efficiencies
• Ensure SOA compliance
• Coordinate with other departments and report to directors

About you:

• Extensive paraplanning experience
• Experience preparing SOAs for holistic advice scenarios
• Strong knowledge of financial planning compliance and regulations
• Experience maintaining and updating SOA templates
• Leadership experience managing paraplanning teams and workflows
• Ability to train staff and lead teams confidently
• Xplan experience

Salary is flexible depending on experience, up to $160,000 + Super.
