Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Doha, Qatar, seeks a senior civil/marine engineer with extensive dredging experience to lead complex port and reclamation projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years in dredging, familiarity with CSD, TSHD, backhoe dredgers, and survey vessels, plus EPC/marine contractor coordination; Middle East experience is preferred. The role includes overseeing design, safety, and interface with port authorities, with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/marine/construction engineering or related discipline.
• 8 years of experience in dredging, marine works, reclamation, or port construction projects.
• Experience with major dredging equipment: CSD, TSHD, backhoe dredgers, split hopper barges, survey vessels.
• Experience working with EPC, marine contractors, or port authorities.
• Experience in the Middle East is an added advantage.

  Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD)

  Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD)

  Backhoe Dredgers

  Split Hopper Barges

  Support and survey vessels

• Experience working with EPC, marine contractors, or port authorities.

• Experience in Middle East will be an added advantage.
