Job summary

Avanta Works in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Welder with at least 3 years of experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will weld according to blueprints and verbal instructions, with MIG/TIG welding of aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Fabrication tasks include grinding, drilling and cutting, plus inspection of welded parts.

The role requires independent or team work, strong attention to detail, and compliance with safety regulations. Salary offered is 1,700 per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding of aluminum, steel, stainless steel and other alloys.
• Experience with fabrication techniques (grinding, drilling, cutting, etc.).

We are looking for a Welder with a minimum of three (3) years of experience to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks and assembly operations according to blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; as well as the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. The successful candidate must have experience in MIG/TIG welding of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and other metal alloys. Experience with fabrication techniques such as grinding, drilling, cutting etc is also required.

Responsibilities

• Operating welding equipment in accordance with safety regulations
• Setting up jigs or welding fixtures
• Inspecting welded components
• Keeping accurate records of production
• Performing maintenance on welding equipment
