Job summary

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is seeking a Ride Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of waterpark rides and attractions to uphold the highest safety standards. The role requires diagnosing faults, performing preventative maintenance, and training junior staff.

The successful candidate will maintain logs, manage parts inventory, support on-call coverage, and ensure cross-department communication while complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Secondary or high school education is required.
• Trade technician level qualification in engineering/maintenance.
• Basic MS Office skills and ability to use BMS; good English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all rides and attractions to the highest safety standards.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose faults for all attractions and rides in the waterpark.
• Perform preventative maintenance and overhauls per manufacturer specifications.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Maintain daily logs/records of maintenance work, on paper and electronic.
• Manage inventory and write purchase order requests for items needed.
• Participate in the on-call program and respond as appropriate.
• Report hazards, safety concerns, and accidents immediately.
• Ensure effective communication between engineering and other departments.
• Comply with Health and Safety Regulations.
