Job summary

Maseera is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to ensure VIP workstations and related IT services are secure, up-to-date, and ready for use. The role emphasizes proactive health checks, rapid incident response, and end-to-end issue ownership.

You will collaborate with Network, Security, Server, and Application teams while upholding high confidentiality and professionalism. The position focuses on preventing issues and maintaining operational readiness in critical environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Technical Support or System Administration.
Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, and basic troubleshooting.
Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
Experience with IT asset management, inventory control, and software licensing.
Experience with hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Provide first and second-level technical support to employees.
Monitor and maintain IT systems' integrity, availability, and security.
Monitor server performance, network connectivity, and system health.
Assist in Active Directory administration and access permissions.
Maintain IT documentation, licenses, warranties, and maintenance contracts.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support.
