Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies is seeking a skilled professional to oversee and optimize water metering systems, ensuring accurate measurement and reliable operation across installations. The role involves maintenance planning, troubleshooting, data analysis, and adherence to project schedules.

Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience with meters, accessories, and communication devices, and will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance measurement accuracy and asset reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, testing, calibration, replacement, and performance monitoring of all types of water metering systems to ensure reliable and accurate measurement.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to water meters, metering accessories, communication devices, and associated systems to maintain operational reliability.
• Monitor water meter installation, replacement, upgrade, commissioning, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, project schedules, and technical requirements.
• Review and analyze water meter performance data, identify trends and operational issues, and prepare technical reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance water metering technologies, measurement accuracy, asset reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize the performance and lifecycle of water metering systems.
• Conduct technical inspections, site assessments, testing, and verification of water metering installations to ensure compliance with approved specifications and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical expertise on water metering systems, equipment selection, technology evaluation, and industry best practices to support engineering and operational activities.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or management to support departmental and organizational objectives.
