Job description

In this role, your key responsibility is to support day-to-day hotel operations from the owner side, providing assistance and support on various stages from hotel acquisition to ongoing operations. You will research potential hotel leads and assist the Director of Operations to populate all reports related to the hotel operations. You will review and propose amendments on Share Purchase Agreement, Hospitality Management Agreement in the best interest of the company.

Key Accountabilities

  • Initiate and conduct research on hotel leads – covering all aspects such as brand recognition, location, inventory, overall guest satisfaction, services and facility, identify direct competitors and create SWOT analysis when needed.
  • Review hospitality management contracts and deliver comments highlighting any risks for the company as a potential new owner.
  • Provide strategic and analytical support covering varying levels of complexity for investment decisions, project management, and post-investment analysis, all to be delivered within agreed timescales. Manage, capture, and integrate market intelligence into strategic planning, ensuring appropriate focus on delivering competitive advantage.
  • Regularly monitor and optimally invest ‘owners’ account balances.
  • Regularly review existing projects with any risks and opportunities being highlighted as the project is delivered and ensure corrective action is taken to bring the project back in line with approved benefits. Responsible for ensuring that all tax, insurance, legal, and statutory requirements are met.
  • Manage, track, and report on multiple projects (acquisitions, ongoing operations, holding companies setup) and coordinate various activities with internal and external teams.
  • Draft the agenda for Board meetings. Ensure issuance of minutes of meetings, track action items, and escalate issues for resolution.
  • Track and keep record of all management fees structure and payment to the division.
  • Ensure all invoices are approved and paid, with ongoing tracking, reporting, and escalation.
  • Contribute to the Share Purchase Agreement review conducted by all the team to protect the company’s interest.
  • During Pre-Acquisition, review all terms of the hospitality management contract.
  • Review Capex proposals and follow up on date of implementation, cost variance, review hand-over reports and monitor return on investment.
